In your understanding, what is a digital citizen? Give at least three characteristics.

 By reading about digital citizenship in our module in lesson nine,I have gained knowledge and insight about what digital citizen is. Therefore, based on these primary knowledge, I can say that a digital citizen is someone who utilizes technologies responsibly and effectively both in online and offline communities. A digital citizen is someone that impacts others positively by the use of technology may it be face -to- face or in online platforms. 

  The characteristics I think that digital citizens have would be digital literacy, digital etiquette, and critical thinking. First, digital literacy because digital citizens are not just tech savvy people but they should also be a good at communication and one that enhances their knowledge and skills. Secondly, the digital etiquette because digital citizens should know how to properly behave in the digital setting. Lastly, would be the critical thinking skill because there are such things especially online wherein the danger could occur anytime just like scams and frauds, therefore, a digital citizen that I consider would be someone that critique's first before engaging.
